NOTE: This unit now features our new higher powered transformers and 4" x 4" ozone plates.
Heavy gauge galvanized metal (ozone resistant) kit comes with everything you need to attach to any 20" box fan to create a high CFM commercial ozone generator that produces 30,000 mgh of ozone and shoots it straight up towards the ceiling at 2400 CFM.
This unit utilizes our proprietary 10 gram IEC transformers and our 10 gram double sided ozone plates. It can create "shock" levels of ozone in areas up to 4000 sq ft. Some of the great thing about this design is that if one of the transformers fails, you still have three, and the transformers come with a lifetime warranty and are easy to switch out. (just 2 screws to remove - the ozone plate and power cord plug right into the transformer). Other commercial units cost $100-$200 to ship both ways in order to get warranty support. We design our ozone units simple to save you money, now and in the future.
NOTE: Some assembly required. (takes about 10 minutes) We provide duct tape to hold the 3 panels in place while you attach the 6 self tapping screws that attach the 3 planks to the box fan. Besides that, all you have to do is plug in the ozone plates and the power cords and set the timer.
We have a very open 3100 sq ft home with an unfinished basement. We have had lots of water and mold issues and are almost finished with remediation. We need to treat every level including our attic. The basement and first floor are approximately 1700 sq ft each, the second floor is approximately 1400 sq ft, and the attic is somewhere in between. We are considering getting 4 units but would like your advice as to the sizes we should purchase.
The 30 or 40 gram box fan kits would be best. Place it under the air return and let the HVAC system distribute the ozone when nobody is home. Set it to turn off 1 hour before returning home. Run it every day for the first week then 15 minutes a day after that for a month or so. That would be more than enough to address any mold issue.
