The OG-1000 is a "bare bones" medical grade (if fed oxygen) water and oil ozonator without a cabinet. Why no enclosure? We don't want this ozonator to end up in a landfill! We designed this unit so that all parts are easy to replace once they eventually crap out.
What makes this ozone generator "medical grade"? The glass ozone tube (wrapped in black tape) with ABS ozone resistant nipples, the silicone tubing, and the glass bubbler. When fed oxygen from an oxygen concentrator or oxygen tank, it can create what they call "medical grade" ozone. If you use the supplied 1-8 liter per minute air pump, it will make ozone that is suitable for home use but not for internal medicine - blood work, for that you need to feed it oxygen.
Why is this a medical grade ozonator? It features a glass ozone tube, a cooling fan, and an open design that lends itself to staying cooler but most importantly, it can be fed oxygen. Besides having a glass ozone tube (metal ozone tubes such as the ones inside cheap Chinese ozonators which put impurities in the water), and open design that allows for the simple replacement of times once they fail, this ozonator is also higher powered than most. While you'll have to provide your own oxygen tank or oxygen concentrator to make medical ozone, it does features a variable 1-4 LMP output air pump that you can turn it down low for ozone insufflations of the ears and other body parts. Lastly, this unit comes with six feet of silicone tubing to power the US made glass ozone bubbler.
Here in the USA, we like to design and make things that last a lifetime, and that's the inspiration behind all Forever Ozone products!
Another problem with most Chinese made ozonators are the hoses and stone bubblers. They are not medical grade and put impurities into the water. The stones have rubber nipples, and god knows what impurities in the stone itself. If you're going to buy an ozonator for wellness reasons, you'll be happy to note that our bubbling stones are 100% glass-bonded silica bubblers that also feature a Kevlar nipple (ozone resistant). We back these MADE IN THE USA glass bubblers with a lifetime warranty! We include 6 feet of silicone tubing with this unit, but you can cut it down to the size you need.
The OG-1000 is an excellent investment given all of the health-promoting things you can accomplish with ozonated water and oil.
I am interested in purchasing one of your water ozonators. 1.) What is the time frame for delivery? 2.) Which unit is better? 3.)What comes with the 1,000 mg unit? 4.) Does it also include a ozone destruct unit? 5.) Does it include any containers, ceramic stones, industrial pediatric flow regulator, catheters or sufflation bags? If not, do you know where there is an affordable place to purchase these supplies? Thank you!
1) 2 days via Priority Mail. 2) For water, the digital water ozonator is better. Just have to push one button and it has an air dryer. 3) The machine, 1-8 lpm air pump, two 3 foot sections of silicone tubing, and one of the glass bubblers. 4) No. Not needed. 5) No. No idea about those items. We do offer the ozone enema pump as an option.
Does the unit produce 1g/hr when fed regular air and also make 1g/hr when fed oxygen from a tank or concentrator? - I am trying to understand the difference between feeding it air and feeding it oxygen.
All ozone generators sold anywhere are rated with oxygen feed. So 1g is with an oxygen feed.
can i attach oxygen to this machine??
Not needed. There is plenty of oxygen in the air. Churning the air with box fan (moving the oxygen in the air in contact with the plate) is all you have to do to achieve a high ozone concentration. That and cool running plates - what our ozone generators offer.
Question #1: which side is Oxygen INPUT SIDE? Question #2: what Oxygen FLOW RATE ensures 1000 mg/hr output?
You can feed the ozone tube oxygen from either side but the unit comes with a small piece of tubing coming out of the right side of the ozone tube (with the fan being the back of the unit) because that's the side where the wires from the transformer connect to the ozone tube. So you can feed ozone in from that side. The other side then is the side that the ozone exists, and it's free of any wires.
The lower the flow rate of oxygen, the higher the ozone concentration. For optimal ozone concentrations (optimal for ozone therapy which is not too high as to cause oxidative stress but high enough to get the job done) this unit should be fed 1/2 to just under 1 liter per minute. Please note, any flow rate will yield "1000 mg/h" but the higher flow rates will yield lower concentrations of ozone, but more ozone by weight. We have dentists that use these in their practice (hidden in an expensive stainless steel cabinet) and they used expensive ozone flow meters to test this machine. Those tests revealed all flow rates it yielded 1g per hour (just over 1 gram actually) but the lower the flow rate, the higher the concentration.
Was just wondering when your website will be updated to reflect the new OG-1000 flow control on the oxygen input end that will allow oxygen flow rates as low as 1/8 LPM for the ones of us that have an oxygen concentrator that only allows a minimum of 1 or 2 LPM's. I want to purchase a OG-1000 as soon as this flow control is offered. Also, I read the below in your Q&A section. Just wanted to confirm the below still applies if purchasing a OG-1000: "Our 1g unit will be housed in a cabinet starting next week. It will also have the gamma ratings for different LPM listed on the outside like the medial units. You can attach anything you want to the silicone hose, or have it feed a suana, no problem." Thanks for your help.
We ordered a color sticker with the gama data but that won't be available until next week (ordered it online today) The unit itself is available starting today.
1) Do you have plans to sell larger tubes in the future, i.e., 3ghr or higher? 2) Is it possible to purchase additional tubes to link in series to create even stronger ozone? 3) How would I go about doing that? 4) Would there be significant benefit of having stronger ozone concentration (with or without oxygen)?
We might go 10 and 20g in the future, for pools, but for ozone therapy and oils 1g and 5g are plenty.
For ozone therapy, 1g is plenty. The important part is being able to measure the flow to regulate the concentration and out new medical grade ozone generator allows you to do just that. For oil, you want the 5g unit with an oxygen concentrator for best results. For pools, 10 and 20g would be beneficial and we are looking at testing those out. We'll see how well they hold up this summer before selling them. The 5g holds up well, we tested it last summer.
I just ordered one of your units and am very excited. I have one of your old 500mg/hour units and am looking forward to this "heavy duty" unit. What are the relationships between oxygen flow and your air pump flow of 1-8 LPM? What are your optimum protocols for ozonating water and olive oil?
Good question. The higher the flow, the lower the concentration. At say 4 lpm you will create a weak ozone but high volume. If you run it at 1 lpm you will create a stronger concentration but a low volume. Same amount of ozone per hour, just different concentrations and volumes. Picture a small ballon with 1 gram of ozone or a large ballon with 1 gram of ozone and a lot of air.
1. how durable is the glass tube. Is it easily breakable? I found units on Amazon that boasts 10g/hr and 5g/hour. I don't know why the 5g/hr is more expensive. here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/Eleoption-Generator-Portable-Treatment-Purifier/dp/B07D9C21WD/ref=sr_1_60?crid=2AZVPNPEKKBOX&keywords=water+ozone+generator&s=home-garden&sprefix=water+ozone+genera%2Cindustrial%2C170 What are the differences between theirs and yours? By the way, I'm one of your existing customers...just want to know the differences why your stuff is better
Good question. I'm not sure about that particular product, who makes it, but I can tell you that you that the cheaper products like the one found on Amazon are junk. Amazon charges sellers a 16-17% commission. To ship from China to the USA cost around $25 - $35. For a $100 product, that means that it cost the company $38 to $47 to get the product to the USA. If they sell it for $90, how much do you think it cost them to make it? Also keep in mind it cost 2-3 times more to ship to China from the USA because our government doesn't subsudize our businesses like China does their businesses. (All Chinese companies are 1/2 owned by China's government)
We use ozone tubes that have a quartz (glass) tube and not metal tubes like many of the cheaper ones. Our 5g tube has stainless stell nipples and a much better heat sink than the one listed in that ad you reference. We have to buy them in bulk to get a good price. The company that makes our ozone parts for us has been in business for over 15 years and certifies all of their equipment in an independent lab (one per batch) ...trust but verify.
Can you send a pic of what it would look like ozonating the water? I don't think the pics here show the tube or stone or how it would need to sit in order to ozonate the water. Thanks.
I'll make a video in the next week, good idea. Basically, you put the glass bubbler on the end of the silicone tube and you place it at the bottom of a glass and bubble the ozone into the water via the stone.
Hello, I am wanting to convert to a medical grade generator capable to do water, oils and insufflations. It's very important to be able to add a syringe to the generator like is seen for sinus and device for ears insufflations. Is this a good unit for that and do I need to add additional components other than oxygen tank? Also, would this work for sauna and if so, any other needed components?
Our 1g unit will be housed in a cabinet starting next week. It will also have the gamma ratings for different LPM listed on the outside like the medial units. You can attach anything you want to the silicone hose, or have it feed a suana, no problem.
I loved my 1000mg/h water ozonator but after a year it started producing too much nitric acid. I have found that you can scrape clean the flat plates of an air generator, but is there any way to clean the inside of my tube generator or do I need to buy a new tube every year?
A new ozone tube and transformer is only $25 with free shipping. Good idea to repalce yearly.
what is the oxygen concentration at 2 LMP air input
I assume you mean ozone concentration when fed oxygen. If you use 2LPM of oxygen you will get 16 gamma. (ug/ml) 1 LMP. Creates 26.4 gamma (ug/ml). When you use ambient air, you get 1/5 of that.
Hi, I'm very interested in buying this unit. Can you confirm it will work using Irish 230 volt AC (frequency 50Hz)? I have an oxygen concentrator - is this suitable for ozonating water? I'd like to buy a Ozone Douche Pump as well. I will buy a 1.5" Glass Bubbler - Aerator stone also. Can you please quote including the items I've listed, import charges and postage to Con Connor Candlefield Trien Castlerea Co Roscommon F45 HK53 Ireland
Hi. We don't make this 220V at this time. Shipping to Ireland for the 110V would be $50 but we could include extra parts to make up for that.
Can the bare bones water ozonator be turned to an air ozonator with added parts?
Yes, if you have a long hose you can ozonate areas up to 1000 sq ft. There is a catch. The pump has a thin rubber diaphram that is ruined if ozone runs through the pump. If you want to ozonate the air, you need to put the machine and pump in one room and the hose under the door to ozonate the adjacent room so that the ozone doesn't get sucked throught he pump thus ruining the diaphram. You can also use these units to ozonate cars by placing them on the roof and pumping the ozone in via a cracked window. Same principle.
Will the og-1000 produce ozonated oil without an oxygen source (concentrator or tank)? And how long would it take for olive oil? Thanks
Yes. Our protocol is 4 hours in a chilled ice container to keep the ozone from dissipating.
can the 1000 mg/h water and oil ozonator run continously?
Yes, it has a fan so it can run for hours. However, the people who sell ozonated oil state they ozonate the oil for weeks at a time. (Hence this question I think). What they sell is actually hydrogenated oil (from nitous oxides) that over time thickens up the oil. Ozone is very reactive at room temps. It breaks down within 40 minutes. If you were to run an ozone generator for weeks, the nitrogen and hydrogen content would thiken the oil. The oil will have extra oxygen as well, but not ozone. We don't sell ozonated oil via the Interent for that reason. You can make your own ozonated oil but the only way we've found you can actually have ozone rich oil is to chill the oil in ice so that the ozone retains. At 40 something degrees, ozone takes 3-4 hours to break down, so that's what we recommend. Chill the oil in ice and bubble it in for 4 hours then put it straight into the freezer to capture all of the ozone. Now that will be ozonated oil!
1 which model does a glass of water faster? How long does a glass take? Can you use either one in a bath tub?
The digital ozonator is better for making water because it has a digital timer and you can set it for 2 minutes (for a glass of water) and come back in 2 minutes and it's done. For a bathtub the 1000 mg/h would be better, since it's 2 times the ozone, and a tub takes 30-40 minutes at lukewarm temps to ozonate for therapeutic results.
