Indoor Air Five Times More Polluted Than Outdoor Air. We Need a Green New Indoor Air Deal!

best way to purify indoor air

Five times dirtier! Until AOC saves the world by doing away with your car, airplanes, and farting cows, we need to take a serious look at the best way to purify indoor air.

For years, I have been an outspoken critic of table top air purifiers. Machines like the Molekule don't move enough air (little or no CADR) to realistically improve your indoor air. The EPA wisely recommend you open your windows and let in fresh air when you can, but what if you live in an area with extreme temperatures/ What then?

The best way to purify your indoor air and remove the "bad stuff" that can and will make you sick is with an ozone shock treatment while nobody (even pets) is home. Ozone is oxygen with an extra oxygen atom (o3) It's a God particle (cleanliness is next to godliness) that destroys molds, bacteria, viruses, micro-pathogens, VOC's, second  hand smoke, bad odors, and it eve kills flies, mosquitoes, mites, and small insects!  Those "bad guys" don't stand a chance against an ozone shock treatment. When you get home, we do recommend opening the windows and letting in fresh air to get rid of any micro particles created by the shock treatment. Before getting into ozone I was an IAQ tester and know how the best way to purify indoor air, and I assure you that an ozone shock treatment is essential for clean, healthy indoor air.

If you have an HVAC system, the best way to remove dust from the air and clean it is, by far, with an HVAC air purification system. They're pricy, but nothing beats them! They feature UVC lamps, 3" thick MERV 12 filters, and strong air handlers that filter all of the air in the house 2 to 3 times per hour. The only air purifiers I recommend are made by Airpura. (best design. Respect)

Is it harmful to breath ozone?  In high concentrations for extended periods of time, yes. However, ozone reverts back to oxygen after 40 minutes or so, and nobody that sells ozone generators advocated being home when the machine is running. A pool guy who shocks your pool water will give you the same advice. Stay out of the water for a few hours after we shock treat the pool to allow the oxidizers to break down.  Same deal for an air ozone shock treatment.

It's sad that so few people know of the health benefits of having the air in their home shock treated with ozone from time to time. Everyone sheds pounds of dead skin. Everyone has mites and mite droppings in their air that ozone could neutralize. Hardly anyone performs ozone shock treatments.  Sad. Not as sad at AOC, still pretty sad.
